“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” - Benjamin Franklin

The Rexburg Police Department spends approximately $29.00 per child per year on just the classroom supplies. As D.A.R.E. Officers we see the importance of providing vital information to children so that they make correct decisions to avoid powerful addictions and harmful substances. D.A.R.E. gives kids the tools to look past decisions and peer pressure to the consequences that could occur. D.A.R.E. gives kids the tools to avoid dangerous pitfalls that lead to poor health, loss of control and opportunity limiting behaviors.

If we did not have the help of individuals and local businesses we could not keep this program in our schools. Thank you for partnering with the Rexburg Police Department D.A.R.E. in our mission of teaching students good decision-making skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives.

If you would like to donate to our program or participate in our fundraisers please contact Officer Shawn Scott at 208-201-7352 or Email: shawn.scott@rexburg.org. You can also contact the Rexburg Police Department at 25 E. Main Rexburg, ID 83440 or call 208-359-3000.
